Many homes in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Carroll Gardens have an affinity for inflatable lawn ornaments. One will also observe more American Flags in Carroll Gardens than in the surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods. Bearing that in mind, an inflatable Uncle Sam expressing gratitude and encouragement to first responders and essential workers and love of country was not only charming and entirely agreeable, but also a quintessentially Carroll Gardens tribute — well worth sharing with the readers of the New Leaf Journal.
